Do you want to know whats happening right now at a given location? With Malooku its now possible to be right there. Just pick a spot on the map and get pictures from the users on-site.
-What is Malooku?-
Have you ever pondered during your skiing holidays: "If I had known that the powder is so great, I wouldnt have wasted so much time in my hotel room!"
Did you eventually tell your friend: "If I had known that there are so many awesome people in the club, I also would have joined the party!"
Of course it would be great to have a friend on-site who quickly takes a picture and sends it to you. This picture together with the note "Hey, where are you? The snow is just divine!" or "The atmosphere is absolutely captivating!" would really get you from your sofa.
Malooku allows you to have a friend everywhere, doing this little favour for you. She doesnt know you and also is not a member of any of your social network friends. Shes just on the right place at the right time and helps you with a simple click on the camera button to get an immediate and authentic impression about the conditions on site.
Does this sound just a little too good to be true? Not at all, its just Malooku.
-How does Malooku work?-
With Malooku you can now inform people that you have a question related to their current location. We call this sending a "Ping". The answer, a photo, that you receive as a response to your Ping, is called an "Echo".
So how do I get started? Quite simply!
- Create a Ping -
Pic a spot on the map or enter an address into the search field. Tap the desired location to create a ping and enter your optional question for the location. Finally send your ping and get notified when someone sends you an Echo with a photo.
- Send an Echo -
Youll receive a push notification from Malooku as soon as there are new Pings for your current location. Open the notification and see what other people want to know about your location. By clicking the camera icon you can take a photo and respond using a few accompanying words.
- Receive an Echo -
As soon as someone responds with an Echo to your Ping, you will be notified by Malooku. Just open the message in order to see the photos of the Echo. You now can express your gratefulness to the creator of the Echo or show that you like the phot with one simple tap.
